Feeling spicy?
We've teamed up with our friends at Pukka tea to bring you a very delicious, slightly spicy hot chocolate recipe, combining our organic drinking chocolate and their Vanilla Chai tea. Yum!
For a single serving, you will need:
- 2 heaped teaspoons of Kōkako Drinking Chocolate
- 1 Pukka Vanilla Chai tea bag
- 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla essence
- A pinch of cinnamon
- 150ml of your choice of milk
Brew the tea bag in 50ml of hot water for 10min, then remove it.
Mix the drinking chocolate, cinnamon and vanilla into the tea concentrate until you have a well combined syrup.
Heat your choice of milk, then pour over the syrup. Stir to combine.
If you prefer your hot chocolate on the sweeter side, add a little honey to your taste.
